Canada’s premier event for printable, flexible & wearable electronics April 19-20, Toronto

OTTAWA—November 24 2015—The Canadian Printable Electronics Industry Association (www.cpeia-acei.ca), the catalyst for Canada’s printable, flexible and wearable electronics ecosystem, has opened the call for submissions and early bird registrations for CPES2016.

CPES is Canada’s premier industry event for printable, flexible and wearable electronics (PE). The site for CPES2016 is now live at http://cpes2016.ca/.

CPES2016 takes place April 19-20, at Sheridan College’s new conference centre in Toronto.

“CPES2016 will build on the momentum of last year’s symposium in Montreal to become a truly world-class event,” said Peter Kallai, President and CEO of the CPEIA and Chair of the CPES Organizing Committee. “CPES2015 marked a major turning point for Canada’s emerging PE industry, doubling from previous years in terms of the size of its program and the number of attendees.

For CPES2016, over 100 organizations and 200 attendees expected, with industry-leading speakers and keynotes from around the world.

Call for speakers, presenters now open

CPES2016 is also now accepting submissions for speakers, academic posters and tabletop exhibitors. Submissions are encouraged for the main themes of the conference:

  • Advances in printable electronics, inks, manufacturing methods, devices
  • Advances in flexible electronics
  • Advances in stretchable electronics
  • Advances in wearables
  • 3D printable electronics
  • Applications in intelligent packaging, intelligent buildings and homes, health care, automotive and aerospace.
