CPEIA Committees

As with any industry association, committees will be vital to the effective operation of the CPEIA.

Organizing Committee - Canadian Printed Electronics Symposium 2015

At present, only one committee has been formed, to prepare for the 2015 Canadian Printed Electronics Symposium taking place April 21 to 22 in Montreal.

This workshop-style Symposium is marking its third year, and to date has been a collaborative effort spearheaded by the National Research Council, CMC Microsystems and other members of Canada’s PE Consortium.

The Symposium brings together stakeholders in Canada’s Printable Electronics (PE) ecosystem from industry associations, academia, manufacturing, printing and key end-user verticals such as aerospace, automotive and packaging.

Future committees

In the coming months, CPEIA will work to create other committees as needed. Their purpose will be to define applications and opportunities for PE in Canada in specific market verticals, as well as tackle specific needs of the Association, such as membership development, outreach and fundraising.

Consideration for participation on a committee will require CPEIA membership. Effort will be made to ensure, where appropriate, that committee members are representative of Canada’s PE ecosystem – government, R&D organizations, industry and academia and other industry associations and peer organizations.
