The National Research Council (NRC)

The NRC is an agency of the Government of Canada. NRC is comprised of three integrated R&D divisions, each guided by advisory bodies composed of industry leaders. Under these three umbrella R&D divisions, it has 12 integrated and consolidated portfolios focused on key industry sectors. These portfolios represent areas of strategic importance and economic value for Canada. One of these is Printable Electronics. Within each portfolio, NRC has a variety of programs focused on addressing specific business-identified priorities and challenges through a unique offering of technical and advisory services, research facilities, licensing opportunities and programs and partnership opportunities.

Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME)

CME is Canada’s largest trade and industry association, and the voice of manufacturing and global business in Canada. Founded in 1871, CME represents more than 10,000 leading companies nationwide, and – through various initiatives, including the establishment of the Canadian Manufacturing Coalition – touches more than 100,000 companies from coast to coast, engaged in manufacturing, international trade, and service-related industries. More than 85 per cent of its members are small and medium-sized enterprises. Collectively, CME’s membership network accounts for an estimated 82 per cent of Canadian manufacturing production and 90 per cent of all goods and services exports.

Tech Access Canada

Tech-Access Canada serves vital industrial sectors across the country, responding to industry applied research needs through innovation support services delivered by college faculty, staff and students. Its network of Technology Access Centres serve the research and innovation needs of specific regional economic clusters in nine technology sectors.

The Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA)

CABA is an international not-for-profit industry association dedicated to the advancement of intelligent home and intelligent building technologies. The organization is supported by an international membership of nearly 400 companies involved in the design, manufacture, installation and retailing of products relating to home automation and building automation. Public organizations, including utilities and government are also members. CABA’s mandate includes providing its members with networking and market research opportunities. CABA also encourages the development of industry standards and protocols, and leads cross-industry initiatives.

PAC, Packaging Consortium

PAC, Packaging Consortium is a not for profit corporation that includes over 2,200 members throughout the packaging value chain. Our mission is to drive for progressive change in the packaging value chain through leadership, collaboration and knowledge sharing. Our networking process includes PAC webinars, seminars, plant tours, conferences, competitions, education programs, trade shows & social activities.

IEEE Canada

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. (IEEE) is a non-profit, technical professional association of more than 421,000 members worldwide.  IEEE Canada is the legal and official presence of IEEE in Canada.  It is the largest technical professional association in Canada with over 18,000 members across the country.  Many of our members are technology leaders, business leaders and practitioners in industry.  Some of the members are business executives, key engineers or chief technology officers; others are lead researchers with academic institutions or governmental policy boards in Canada. The IEEE Ottawa Section, part of IEEE Canada, represents more than 1,800 individual members and serves to organize and promote local events significant to electrical, computing, and software engineering. It will serve as the CPEIA’s champion to other IEEE sections.
